How long have you been roleplaying?: Three years.
Do you have any past experience roleplaying as a Civil Protection Unit? Twice - once in Infusion Gaming(IG) when they had a Half-Life two roleplay server and in PGB's server.
What lead your character to join the Metropolice Force? He was sick of being malnourished and treated like rubbish. He decided to join to rise above his fellow Citizens and become something better and respectful.
What are your character's personality traits? (Personality and mentality.)
A tense and upright character with a rough upbringing. From a heavy working life you can find him to be quite obedient but he can be quite rude.
Write a Background Story (App. 2+ Paragraphs) of your character's life, and how they got into their current situation:
Eduards Nikitin was raised in a Village in Latvia, his days of youth was filled with being a farm hand at a local potato farm for the Land lord of the Village. The Land-lord thought that if you live in his Village, you must work for the Village. Young or old. Seeing as though his parents where working at other jobs around the Village, he had nobody to talk to and this always made him unsociable around other people. His work was tough and his days long. He had to tend to the farm, hoe the soil and harvest the new potatos. Other people worked on the farm, sure but he could never relate to them. They came from all over the Village and even though it was privately owned it was still quite a large Village. He worked the entire day, with little pay or rest. He would always come home each night feeling too tired to talk to his Mother or Father. Infact, he was so tired he would just go home to go to sleep.
Once Eduards reached the age of Seven it was time for him to attend school. He was taught to speak Russian and English. Once he had left School at Eighteen he was placed right back at where he started, on the potato farm. Three years he worked on the farm before the combine attacked. At first nobody knew what was going on. Before anybody could mobilise an offensive in the country they where in detainment facilities around the globe. Placed in a city just like most of the populace, it came clear to him that Socialising with people wasn't only important - It was imperative to his survival as a Citizen. He watched day by day as the Metro-police forces pushed and shoved the Citizens of his city around. Secrectly, he felt a burning passion to join the metro-police force and become the oppressor for once in his life.
Provide an example of passive roleplay as a Civil Protection Unit (App 2+ Paragraphs):
*The metro-police officer makes a point of himself, by snapping his boot on the concrete floor as he enters the room. He turns his head at the Units lined up in formation. He walks up and down. You can't see it from under his mask, but there is an air of smugness about him. He suddenly jolts to a stand-still as he turns to the right. The Officer clears his throat before lifting his booming voice aloft,*
Combine Officer: "Welcome, Recruits. One and all to the Metro-police force. Unfortunately, I'm not the welcoming committee. I'm here to show you how you wear your Uniform. I know it might sound strange to your ears, 'But, Sir. We are already wearing uniforms!'. No, you are not. You are sloppily wearing a Uniform. Half of you don't even have your shoes shined, your trousers ironed or your BDU straighened out. If you where a higher unit, I would have you taking off that uniform, cleaning it and putting it back on so many times that you would be sick of seeing the glorious uniform you wear today."
*The recruits all gulp. They don't dare to turn their heads to one another but, its obvious from the tension in the room they are all feeling the same thing.*
Combine Officer: If you look at the table infront of you you'll see a tin of Boot polish and a spare pair of boots. With your right hand, stick your hand into a boot and level it with your chest. Once you've done that, wet the cloth beside the tin of shoe polish and dip it inside. Once you have the tip of polish, start to use small sharp cirlces around the boot untill you can see your face in it.'
* The room is filled with the sound of the Recruits lifting the boots infront of them and beginning to set about their work. They are placing the polish on the boot as the Officer slowly makes his way around the men. Looking at what they are doing closely with a keen eye. *
